So I'm only back! That story for later. Or maybe not. So just be nice to me for now and we'll ease into routine. Speaking of which, reviewing lipsticks was a major part of it. So, I'll just start with a review and we can pick up from where we left! I like that you agree.
Remember how I never owned any red lipstick earlier? Yah. I own a couple now. So Chaud being one of them. It's the young, carefree baby of my other red lipstick (which btw is polished, sophisticated and slightly more grown up).
MAC Viva Glam Cyndi was my first red otherwise.
Color: MAC describes So Chaud as an 'Intense reddish-orange' It looks orange red on Indian skin tones like mine. Erm. I mean it is an orange lipstick with red tones on our skin, it looks red on really fair people. Capiche? The colour is almost neon on my skin. in a flattering way.
So Chaud also made an appearance here (where it's being compared to other similar MAC lipsticks).
Finish and longevity: So Chaud is a Matte lipstick and lasts really long.A minimum of 3-4 hours easily with a lot of drinking snacking(?) in between. After which it leaves a stain behind which is impossible to get rid off unless attacked by makeup remover.

I love So Chaud. Really, I do. But I'm just not bold enough to wear it full power most of the times even though it brightens up my face and adds a pop of happy bright colour. The sober me is smart enough to carry it along when she knows that the intoxicated uninhibited me might make an appearance.I have a very evidently drunk picture wearing this from some bathroom. I thought I might as well take one in mine!
(I do however wear it sheer with clear gloss on a LOT.)

In my opinion So Chaud is one of those brights that flatter most skin tones I highly recommend it. You need to at least try it once!

DeleteYou're back! I'm so glad to see you posting again, I can't remember the last time we spoke to each other, seems so long ago! You look great in so chaud! I like reds and hot pinks more so staying away from oranges for some time (they make my teeth look yellow!)
