I'm in my nailpolish phase nowadays. Normally, to me the thought of spending more than Rs 100 on a nailpolish stinks! Especially since I started beauty blogging. Before that, once in December 2008, I remember buying some 4 Sally Hansen nailpolishes (3 really ugly pinks and 1 beautiful, but common red) for Rs 450/475 & 350/75 each from Kathiawar (in Sec'bad)! Yes, my memory! But don't be impressed yet, it's selective. And I still can't forgive myself for that!
So when I spotted these Rimmel ones, especially with my new Rimmel obsession (Wait for the haul post, you'll know) I had to get these! After looking online, I loved this colour the most, it's a reddish orange. Like Mirindaa maybe.
I love the flat brush of this nailpolish. Distributes colour evenly. The nailpolish itself is quite runny, but extremely pigmented so 2 coats of it, leaves me with really opaque coloured nails. It's definitely an affordable, orange nailpolish that is sure to suit a lot of skintones.
dries fast. Stays glossy and pretty for really long. Stayed on me for 4 days without any chipping and then started to show very little signs of wear. But nothing hideous. I wore it for 6 days, after which I needed change!
Rs 125 for 8ml.
I already have a backup of this, because I bought it for someone and couldn't send it to her. So I bought it again and sent it to her. Point- I Bought 3 of these till date. Same colour. I wanted the Misty Jade too, but I've heard it's too sheer and the colour pay-off isn't great so I skipped it!

DeleteHey. Quick question: What is the glitter nail paint you've used. Also, reccos for shades/brands i can try for the same ?
ReplyDeleteSally Hansen & Rimmel in India. From the same range Rimmel Disco lights (on top. The blue glitter stuff) and below Sally Hansen Strobe light. But here's a lot more available from Sally Hansen at stores and not online. Delhi/Bombay/Pune- Parcos. Hyd Kathiawar.
