So missing in action and apologizing and coming up with lame excuses has become a routine around here. Hence, I decided I'll take matters into my hands.. and feet... spank Ik and do a blog post!
You'll like me better than Ik anyway.. a lot more personality here.. ;)

Well I'm the man.. all her lipsticks look the same to me.. but since I'm on the more artistic side with an amazing eye for detail... I decided these 3 lipsticks look very very similar on her lips.
Well you all know how busy I am.. especially on Sundays.. so lets just go ahead and check out the pictures!
Rosewood comes very close to the MAC Cosmo lipstick.. is a wee bit more pink.
Bot on lips, you cant tell the difference much when freshly applied, since the MaxFactor lipstick leaves a stain behind.. and MAC doesnt... you clearly know the difference..
Upper lip- MaxFactor Rosewood & Bottom lip, MAC Cosmo
I forgot to click pictures with My Mahogany and Cosmo.. In the pictures you can see the stark difference, but in person.. you cant tell much of a difference.. that could be because Ik is partly blind and I'm a guy...:)

What would I pick? MAC for the main reason that it doesnt test on animals. :)
EDIT: Maybelline My Mahogany IS NOT a Cosmo Dupe. Rosewood is as similar as it gets, but it's not the exact colour either.

ReplyDeleteI like Cosmo. Bt, first i'll go with Maxfactor as i'm not a lipstick person, very occasional use. I use tinted lipbalm (morning) and gloss(evenings)and happy with it :).
ReplyDeleteyeah DB.. its pretty good too.. I'm not a lipstick convert yet..so i understand.. Cosmo is the only MAC lipstick I own and the MaxFactor one is my moms. :)
