Have You Been Framed?

Apparently some people think that girls who wear glasses don't get hit on much!
I beg to differ! I wear glasses.. err not all the time.. But a lot these days and it hasn't ever affected how much I get hit on.. In fact I've been hit on more post me wearing glasses than before. Its a completely different story that I'm single now! =P
So who gets hit on and who doesn't isn't what I'm talking about here. What I intended to say mainly was that glasses don't affect how anyone else sees you. They shouldn't! Just the way you see everyone and everything! (BETTER!)

That being said, your glasses should never stop you from wearing makeup.
I know people tend to stop wearing makeup post wearing glasses, even if they did before. I can say this confidently because when I first started wearing glasses, I ditched the kohl I used to wear I mean that is basic, right?! 
DON'T do that! It wont get hidden under your glasses and you shouldn't try to either!

So do as I say! I say this with experience.


The most important thing you must know is that when you look and feel healthy and happy, anything you wear will flatter you, and believe me you, no one is going to notice that new watch on unwaxed, unmanicured hands.

If you must wear foundation and concealer, make sure you set it with powder rightly and carry powder for touch ups. Or you could wear a powder foundation like MAC  Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation. Avoid anything creamy as far as possible.

If you can, skip foundation and concealer. Frames can make the foundation and concealer (mainly under eye concealer) messy because of the sweat. 

If you are someone who used to wear kohl earlier, Don't skip it. It'll only make you look unwell.

You might want to skip mascara. Especially the lengthening kind. You don't want your lashes brushing or worse scratching your glasses. However if you must wear mascara, try a volumizing one but whatever you do, make sure it is a waterproof kind. If you sweat at all, your non waterproof mascara is only going to run and make rings that aren't a part of your frame. [Not nice. They way the kid from the Pears add says it.]

To fake fuller lashes, tightline your eyes. (Apply kohl to the upper lash line). This is the continuation of if you choose to give mascara a skip.

You can always highlight your eyes. But make sure you use a powder highlighter. Or a shimmery neutral eyeshadow.

Tame your eye brows. Use clear brow wax or clear mascara preferably.

That was that about your eyes. Now lets discuss the rest of your face. Thou shall not never compromise on blush. Get a nice coral pink blush to add a pop of colour to your cheeks! Try MAC Fleur Power. Very flattering. Avoid using a cream blush because there is a major chance of it getting messed up due to constant friction or touchy-ness [=P] with you frame.

There is no reason for you not to try our any lipcolour, texture, kind. Go all out here. Do what you want! :)
