Lakme Enrich Satin Lip Color 135: Review, Swatches, FOTD

I swear I live under one of those rocks that have windows! It's not that I don't see things or get to know about "new launches" I just ignore them till that day of the week when I want a particular colour and I'll look out of my window searching for it, because I remember I saw it once, last year! This is what happened when one day I suddenly needed a fuchsia lipstick in my life and I started looking, but then this time, I really wanted to get something from one of our Indian brands, because I was tired of how I only have MAC lipstick reviews here! That's how beauty bloggers think, really! So I looked through Colorbar and Lakme, and I'm kicking myself now because I only was looking through the colorbar velvet mattes, and not the other soft/creme touch lipsticks. And then, I saw the Lakme space (all this is from medplusbeauty.com, btw) mainly because it was quite cheap where I saw a lipstick I remembered seeing on blogs in 2010, available. I crossed my fingers, hoped I wouldn't get an expired product and ordered it after seeing that the Enrich Satin Lipsticks are available on the Lakme website. And when the lipstick arrived, it looked okay. Not as bright as I expected it to be, but then that's just online shopping, now.

You see the fine shimmer in the tube? I really don't mind it as long as it doesn't look frosty; you know that ugly silver base to a colour? Thankfully, this just imparts the satin finish to this lipstick; and doesn't alter the colour.
On me, it's a beautiful, wearable mid toned fuchsia. It's a bright, happy colour. Not something that rocks my boat in terms of pigmentation (See the sheer, single swipe swatch? #TongueTwister; also note the strange crumbs the non drying lipstick left?). The problem is solved with a few swipes, but then that means that it gets slightly streaky. I'm almost sure it's just my piece that's at fault because it is an year old at least; and please look at the pictures of the lipstick after use, below. It looks like the lipstick has gone bad; but it said that it still had some months before it expires, so I don't know. The colour is nice. Suits slightly darker complexions (NC 42- NC45) a lot more in my opinion, but then, I just like them really bright!
If you can lay your hands on a brand new piece (straight from the factories; if they still make it; because I think it was out with some collection and I don't know if it's limited edition or not), I recommend this colour.
A beautiful, bright fuchsia especially for medium to dark skin tones (it looks brighter on darker skin tones).
Sat comfortably on my lips when I used it the first time, and it did glide effortlessly, without leaving the strange crumbs; but when I used it the second time and third, it did leave those crumbs, and that isn't comfortable at all and I haven't worn it ever since, because it did peel off my dead skin (which would have been good, if I wasn't so creeped out). It's highly transferable  but the colour is so gorgeous, I want it again, straight from the factory!
Price- Rs 225
That's a washed out version of the lipstick (that isn't frosty looking either in reality) on me.
On my cheeks- MAC So Sweet, So Easy Cremeblend blush
