MAC Daddy's little Girl Lipstick (MAC Archie's Girls) Review, Swatches, FOTD

 I think every girl has a minimum of 2 personalities. 1. What she's to the world (the way the world sees her) & 2. Her Daddy's little girl. Because, you know how your daddy sees you, nobody else does!

Ok, so before I write an essay on the whole father-daughter relationship thing, let me make my point. The lipstick- Daddy's Little Girl from the Archie's collection is aptly placed in the Veronica range and named. Like Veronica, who is Mr. Lodge's perfect little girl (with a shopping addiction, that he can afford) but a snooty little brat/ mean girl to most of the kids (esp freshmen) at school... This lipstick is a purple-y pink in tube. (Much like how the world sees it, and transforms into a gorgeous bright pink on to the lips- a lot like what err the daddy would see her as! Fun and bubbly and innocent!). Again it depends on the lighting. At the store, it looked pink on me, back at home, it is quite purple.
But I love it! It's unlike anything I have. And more so because it's a pre birthday present from a very dear friend! Yes! All rejoice MAY is here!! *Does a quick jig*

Texture & Finish- It's a satin finish by MAC. It starts of slightly glossy. (Not even as glossy as the amplified finishes), but settles to a matte on me. Goes on smooth. Extremely pigmented and long lasting. The stain stays on forever, and is a pain to remove!
Colour A gorgeous bright pinkish purple that looks more purple on medium- light skintones and a bright pink on dusky to dark skintones. Since I'm not a fan of purple on my lips, I think it looks better on darker skin than lighter. Ooh wait, one gripe I have with this is that it makes me look really yellow! It's quite strange because I don't have yellow tones at all. I'm definitely very neutral, Or maybe it shows more because I'm extremely tanned in the strangest way right now! But if you have strong yellow undertones, the purple in this is bound to make you look like you have jaundice!

You're not allowed to laugh at the FOTD ok! It was sunny and I'd barely slept the night before. Ok, go ahead. Just a little, maybe. My blog's nothing if not entertaining! lol. And the colour here is very slightly washed out here because of the sun.
