MAC COSMO~ Review & Swatches

Everyone holds their "firsts" dearly close to heart. No? I know I do.
First school, first teacher, first best friend, first fall, first fight, first crush? first love of your life, first kiss, first lipstick?
MAC Cosmo was my first MAC lipstick ever! Except for the numerous ones I've used from mum.
This was MY first MAC Lipstick. What was yours? What is yours going to be? I know quite a few people who said it might be Cosmo!:D Let me know, OK?

Price: Rs 990.

Colour & Texture: Cosmo is a pink->peach brown according to me. There is some peach in the lipstick.
MAC describes it as Pink Coco. I like!:D
It's an Amplified finish. And you'll know by now that amplified is my favourite kind! True colour and very opaque.
It is one of the easiest colours ever! You can wear it on its own without any heavy makeup and it'll give you those soft pink-brown pretty lips. You could dress it up with a smokey eye and you're still forgiven.
Something that you can grab when on the go and it'll behave just as you'd want it to.
Cosmo is responsible for my love affair with MAC lipsticks. I really started trying out more lipsticks because of Cosmo.

OUTDOOR

Lasting time: It lasts for a little over 4 hours on my lips. Very good.

INDOOR

Other Thoughts: In my opinion, it would work best with skin tones up to NC 43/44.
Very moisturising, Sits comfortably for as long as it lasts and leaves a tint behind.

i had once mentioned MAC Cosmo Lipstick Dupes [CLICK to be directed to the post]. I've taken another picture for you guys here. Rosewood is similar to Cosmo. A lot more pink and lacks the peach though. But Maybelline My Mahogany IS NOT a MAC Cosmo dupe. I am really sorry for posting that earlier. I'm just learning and and hopefully getting better. I'll be updating that post now. Rosewood is as similar as it gets, But Cosmo is Cosmo. No one else gets called Pink Coco!:)
