The Most Versatile Product Award Goes To-

MAC Rubenesque Paintpot! *Clap* *Clap* *Clap*

Without further ado, let me tell you how I use my Rubenesque Paintpot!
  • The basic use a MAC Paintpots are known for. As a base for eyeshadow application. It not only helps your eyeshadow stay fresh for long, it also prevents the eyeshadow from creasing. Rubenesque also gives that extra glow to your flat matte eyeshadow minus the glitter.
  • As a wash of colour on the lid by itself. For a pretty, polished yet natural look, Rubenqsque does a fab job!
  • As a highlighter for face. If its good enough for my delicate eye area, it, its definitely good enough for the rest of my face! Thanks to the peach tones of the Rubenesque Paint Pot, it easily blends in with Asian skin tone and gives that subtle glow to one's face, while ensuring your face doesn't look oily/ shiny in pictures. This is what a lot of highlighters do! In reality, one looks all fresh and dewy. In pictures with the same makeup on- Shiny Disco ball alert!
Use it on your cheekbones (dab twice and blend), On the bridge of your nose, and on your cupid's bow right above your upper lip to fake a pout make lips look pouty?!

L-R White light, Shadow added to show the highlighting properties of MAC Rubenesque Paintpot
  • Fake the glow!-So you've been slacking off and haven't moisturized well? Add some paintpot to your regular moisturizer for instant healthy looking skin. I do this for my hands a lot. Especially when I know they're going to get some attention. The best part is, it sets well and doesn't rub off on clothes and stuff. But you need to make sure that you blend it immediately with your moisturiser or it will just sit like a blob on your arm (assuming you've put it there. err.)
  • When dabbed and blended over matte blush, it can liven it up.
That's all I could think of now, But I'm sure there's more to learn! It works amazing as a paperweight (kidding!) But don't you drop it on you toe even by mistake!

I've also used this as a highlighter on my face in this FOTD.
UPDATE- I don't know how I forgot to mention that Rubenesque the only paint pot I own. It's actually the only cream eye shadow I have at the moment (I dint even get the Maybelline Eye Tattoos yet!) and I'm really happy with it! It goes with EVERYBLOODYTHING!
