Olay Natural White Night Cream Review

I promised I'll be back today, and look! I am! I need to stop freaking out over this, you know, the not showing up here part. I stayed over a cousin's place (Sat evening, got back today), a little outside of the city. And there was no internet! My phone's internet wasn't always working, and I can't tell you what a boon it was. Just a bunch of us cousins and some friends, all the bonding, amazing conversations, good food, great people, and OhMyGod so many cute boys to look at, the last couple of days were amazing! We went for walks in the evening, partied some, and chilled a lot more, and I know I haven't stopped raving about it, but the weather in Hyderabad is making everything all the more magical!
My mum told me today that I look well rested, (you know, before work starts in full force, it's easy now, but we all know how crazy busy it's going to get!) and that I must have gotten a lot of sleep! But who are we kidding! I know and so do you, I dint get much sleep. Ok, I agree I slept till 12 noon, but I only slept after dawn so it doesn't count! It's probably because I've been using a night cream! You head that right! I only just started about a month back!
I really wanted to try out a night cream. You know, what's it gonna do at night that it wont do during the day?! So while picking up shampoo and ketchup bottles and all that stuff, when I spotted this in the CSD I had to pick it up! Bonus- it had the spot reduction claim on it. So anyway, I threw away the box, so I don't have an ingredient list. But I can tell you if it works or not. So listen.
Price: Rs 299
The spots on my face have slightly reduced. But only slightly. I don't know about fairness, but 'the morning after' sees me looking brighter and well rested. I feel and can see how my skin feels plump and healthy. Minimized pores to an extent and made my face glow. It doesn't last the entire day, but it's good enough to look like that every morning.
It's very very light in it's texture, it gets absorbed in the skin real quick and leaves no oily residue (and that meant I used a lot of it. More than what was required. My skin is quite dry these days and as good as it is, the Hyderabad weather makes me feel like my mum tumbled me in the drier with my clothes, and I come out all dry, like all the moisture has been sucked out of my system!)  And while I try to keep myself hydrated, I really don't drink all the water I should be! So a lot of this slathered on my face, it still feels light. I don't rub it into my skin completely, or it could leave it dry. I think it'll make a really nice night cream during summers and the monsoons. Right now, I feel my skin needs something slightly richer. But it'll work great now if your skin isn't dry (or the area you live in!)
So that's that/ Pretty useless picture, that ^. But I just figured, and it's here anyway.
I think I'm going away again this weekend! Whee! How was your weekend? All good?

  3. Wow, you really had a great long weekend! Cousins are always so much fun but I miss those totally carefree days. Now, all of us cousins are parents so that becomes a bit different. But I'm so glad our kids get along brilliantly too :)
