MAC Mehr Lipstick- Story, Swatches, FOTD & Comparison With MAC Cosmo

What's common between really pretty limited edition MAC Lipsticks and best friends? They always come around! MAC Mehr had first come out with the Mickey Contractor Collection in Dec 2010/ Jan 2011 and I went to buy it, but came home with MAC Cosmo instead. That was my first MAC lipstick and while I did happily choose Cosmo over it (my main point to self was that it's LE and with my commitment issues, I couldn't bear the thought of me falling for something LE!) I couldn't get Mehr out of my mind! 

I did a jig when I knew that MAC decided to make it a permanent colour and I obviously meant to get it but something or the other kept happening! I noticed brighter happier stuff and forgot about it half the time.
Then one day when I was browsing through stuff at a MAC store, one girl walked in and started describing a colour to the SA who looked pretty clueless and I knew immediately she meant Mehr or it made me think of Mehr. Don't know but definitely one of the two! I even said a little prayer that SA wouldn't guess which lipstick that girl spoke about (she din't remember the name). But then that conniving smart girl went and called her friend and just then I asked the SA for Mehr and the girl screamed Mehr like it was a competition! I mean, it was a competition, but anyway! To make it even more competitive, the SA looked at both of us very apologetically (and a little scared) and said "Oh we have just one piece left!" That was it! You could have been anywhere around the Inorbit mall to have felt the chill tension that originated at the MAC store! She described it first, but I asked for it (specifically) first! So who wins? 
Enters the male MUA. Looks at the 3 frozen women and quizzically looks at the female MUA and she barely utters Mehr. He says "Oh I just sold the last piece yesterday!" And looked mighty pleased with himself when the rest of us (female MUA who considered herself a part of our battle by now, included!) looked at him horrified! Like "how could you?!" "And what are you smiling about?!"
Almost as if to save himself from our wrath he added, not as cheerily this time "I could call the GVK counter for you" And the third MUA standing behind the counter being dormant all this while had already done that and announced (very disinterested as if she was just done with the "childish drama" OR maybe because she had the answer!) "They have 3 pieces left!" 
It was no fun anymore! The other girl just huffed, turned and walked out! I looked at some more pretty stuff, decided to buy a mineralize lipstick but they were all out of it and other colours I liked so I left too.
My not really makeup loving but extremely thoughtful and dominating best friend then (the same week) just told me this- "Don't buy it. I'll get it for you. Just message me the name. I wont remember." Me "Okay" Her boyfriend who was driving us around "Umm whattey surprise ya!" So ya then normal story I got it for my birthday.

Bonus Mini Review- MAC describes it as a dirty blue pink. It's a brownish pink. Very similar to MAC Cosmo but you know how I keep saying Cosmo is a brownish peach-pink even though MAC calls it Pink Cocoa. (Don't ask.. I remember such things!) To all of you who never looked at the peach in Cosmo, - Ha! in your face! Because you can evidently see that in the picture below!!
Mehr is a matte so it's super pigmented and still soft and really long lasting! Actually I've decided recently that MAC mattes are my favourite formulas! It doesn't get gooey and streaky even with gloss on top of it. And while it isn't moisturising, it's not drying either!
