MAC Blush Fleur Power Review, Swatches

Guess Wednesday FOTD~ Revealed!

Its a duh post if you read my blog. But since it is Wednesday I feel the need to relieve you from your mid week crisis, *angel* This one is for you-
Which lipstick am I wearing here?

The blush is MAC Melba.

I am out and din't get much time to do this properly, my laptop is running out of charge but I HAD to do this now! :P

This was Viva Glam Cyndi peopleee!!!!! I feel like a a very disappointed school teacher. Get a note signed from mummyy!!!

THE CAT IS OUT OF THE BAG!

Yesterday I asked you all to guess what was wearing in the FOTD, remember? Well heres the scoop.


I started off with obsessing over Aria Montgomery's (Lucy Hale's) makeup in Pretty Little Liars. I like the subtle smokey eyes, the strong eyebrows and a berry lip she dons!
I've been trying to do something like that for sometime now! But it always looks odd because I have very scanty eyebrows otherwise:P
Plus my hair is VERY straight. I tried curling it and it fell flat in 5 minutes! :/
This was the third time I tried this look and I still think it is nowhere similar. This is my version of it. I'm definitely more comfortable this way and I'll go all out next time and try to do this exactly!

Ugghhh i just watched the new episode of PLL... What did I do?!!! I have half a mind to delete this but I'll just put it up anyway! OK No jokes at my expense!:P Please!!!

So the blush is MAC Melba (With a teeeny tiny help from MAC Frankly Scarlet)

Lipsticks were MAC Cosmo + MAC Brick-O-La (mixed them together)

& The eyeshadows were totally wild! I don't own any proper eyehadow. So this was all created/mismatched. :P
I dusted my eyelids with MAC MSF Natural after priming them with MAC Rubenesque Paintpot (Click for Review)
I used the darkest brown from the Maybelline Chai Latte Quad in the outer corner and brought it i the crease.
Clinique Mascara
Tight-lined with Revlon Kohl & Dust the same dark brown on the lower lash line. In the inner corners I used the highlight shade from the Chai Latte quad.
Filled in my brows with the dark brown.

Its a beautiful evening, isn't it? I feel like a game! I spent the day trying to do a look which doesn't look like the original  AT ALL! LOL But this is my blog and I will go right ahead and show you the FOTD, tomorrow:P

Nawww I'm not teasing.. I just need sometime to post that, plus since I spent the whole day doing this, I did no work which I have to go finish now!

So I leave you with the FOTD. You need to guess what I did (You'll know this if you follow me on twitter:P)and guess the products (names) that you see below! :D I know its practically impossible to guess this because its all in B&W. But its a game, all in good fun! Go ahead and tell me!

And yes, still in love with my black beauty. Took a million pictures. Will show you all! ha ha. Joke.

PS: Don't fatten your hopes, the coloured version sucks! :P I was supposed to be born in 1889. Just got delayed by a millenium! & If you cant guess it, I wouldn't mind if you go ahead and tell me I've done a good job! :P

MAC MELBA BLUSH- Review, Swatches & Photographs

 You know whenever I've been asked about my favorite blush, I could only think of MAC Melba. Not because it is the most natural blush on my face, no. I am someone with a lot of colour to my cheeks as it is and I blush for no rhyme or reason but I'm a sucker for blush and that is my absolute favourite makeup to wear. :D

You know swirling the brush in a small pan full of colour.. and getting rosy cheeks and a sudden boost of health and happiness.. sigh..

Anyway, Melba, yeah favourite because it adds warmth to my face. It makes me look un-embarrassed.


Price Rs 1050

Colour & Texture wise, Melba is a Matte dirty peach blush in my opinion, a muted brown peach minus a lot of yellow. You know like in the colour peach, replace the yellowness with brown-ness. :| Capise` ?

The MAC website describes it as a soft coral-peach blush. I haven't really found the coral hint in this, Its definitely a brown peach according to me. More peach. :)
This one is a very pigmented blush, very smooth & in my honest opinion suits a lot of skin tones. Very forgiving.

As complicated as it sounds, Melba is is a beautiful colour fairly easy for a lot of people to pull off!


Stays on for around 4 hours on me. Standard MAC powder blush time. :)

For me it adds a peach warmth to my face. Doesn't look muddy and flat! Its my absolute work safe blush (mainly because I don't have many).

Here is how it looks on a NC 42 me. (I'm not very well these days and that + my dying camera is translating into the ugliness of my skin in the photo below. Please excuse it!)

Oh and I totally forgot to add that this is even more special since I got it as a present from some of my best friends! Sammy! Thank you!!! :* The boys actually went and got me this. How cute is that?

I had a good day in a looooonnggg time today!

1. I got to bunk office half day
2. I went to college, I really dint know I'd miss it so much.
3. I went to the MAC store right next to my office to look at the collections i missed since i was extremely busy with office, and well.. i had an hour to spare. :D
4. They WERE in stock of most pretty things!!!!! I had to have something from this collection. I realllyyyy want the Dr. Facilier mirror.. but I'm not a fan.. I'd have loved it if it were from the Evil Queens range!:D So i picked up The Bite Of An Apple Blush from the Venomous Villains collection!:D
5. I reached office just in time for the lunch break.
6. The meeting went really well.
7. I had to work 3 hours! yayyyyy
8. I got to meet my best friend.. Lets call her Mit. :P after vvvvvveeerryyy long.
9. It was the best coffee in the the longest time.. :D We caught over ssssooooo much! 
10. We had Frankie. :D

All in all, it was really nice.. I am taking baby steps towards managing my life.. and after everything, I am doing a post! so i am very satisfied!:D


I dont have pictures of the everything.. but I do of the blush! I know you've seen it everywhere now.. but i am just so happy that i got mine too!:D I really thought I missed out on it!
