One Red Lipstick, Four Versions

              

Let's face it. At every given time, there are a bunch of girls who are afraid of wearing red lipstick. Especially in India. I mean, it's definitely getting better, but there was a time people said 'Ooh so bright' when I wore MAC Crosswires [last year]! So it took me a while, but I finally got a red lipstick- MAC Ruby Woo and it took me an year to start wearing it outside! (Not proud, don't look at me like that!) But the good news is that I've found ways to wear a red lip. Other than a.. err.. a normal red lip, primarily using One Red Lipstick. Trust me, these are comparivuely easier to wear and ease you into wearing a red lip, also, my brother doesn't goo "ewww" when he sees some of these, so apparently it's socially acceptable too! And the best part is that at the end of the day, you are wearing a red lip! Please note, this is definitely not a post on how I tone down bright colours. Read this post is you'd like to see the different ways of wearing a bright lip colour.

What Should I Call This FOTD/ EOTD?

I am usually good with names. But there is something wrong with me today.
I decided out of the  blue  green, that I wanted to do a colourful EOTD. Help me name it. Will you?

FOTD Breakdown

So I posted my 5 minute FOTD today and I waited for someone, just anyone to ask for a break down!:P

And I almost had to force Shrutilaya to ask me for this cause I so wanted to. Subtle hints don't work on you guys?! hmph.

Okay so I love the look cause its simple, looks polished and takes less than 5 minutes, i.e. if you can line your eyes fastttt.

Oh and cause I wore it when I took my folks out to dinner!:D I mentioned it didn't I ??:D :P

MAC Studio Finish concealer
MAC Mineralized Skinfinish Natural (I use The Body Shop Kabuki brush for this)
MAC Fleur Power Blush (I use The Body Shop Blush Brush for this)

MAC Siahi Fluidline (I use the Maybelline Gel Liner brush for this)

I had less than 5 minutes to dress up and this is what I did. I was surprised what a little tweaking could do to my makeup routine.
I don't wear eyeshadows when I go out generally.. In fact, I am just starting to wear something on my eyelids, other than eyeliner. And it takes some time to do it properly. If you dont have time, Don't bother cause its going to mess up in a hurry and and the whole redoing process takes forever.

• So I washed my face and toned, moisturized.
• Next I concealed my dark circles. My new concealer is pretty awesome. I'll review it in a day or 2.
• I applied the Rubenesque paintpot all over my lid with my finger. You have to be swift, cause it sets otherwise. So its done in a jiffy!
• I lined mt eye with MAC Fluidline in Siahi.
• Then I just set my concealer and buffed some MSF Natural into my face.
• I applied MAC Crosswires and topped it with the Kissable Lipcolour in Exxxhibitionist just in the center of my lips.

Hows Sunday treating you all?? arranging your wardrobes (my mum is nagging me to.. to be fair it does need work.:|) So I'll post 2 super quick FOTDs Ive done and will be on my way.. :|

1, the terrible smokey eye gone wrong with my Vegas Volt lipstick I mentioned here and here and here. :D

Okay so the look 2- This is what I wore when i took my folks out for dinner. :D One of my very few proud moments! :D
Oh and this sure is one of my favourite looks these days. It takes less than 5 minutes and I love it.
